The Aero Detail series provides a very detailed pictorial reference for aircraft scale modellers. Principally concentrating on the major aircraft of World War Two, the series initially also included two titles on modern jet fighters, but these have never been reprinted.
Each title features numerous full-colour photographs of preserved examples of the aircraft type in question - general views and close-up detail shots - together with technical line drawings, diagrams, colour profiles, accurate scale plans and details of camouflage and markings. Some titles also include historic b+w photos. All captions are in English and Japanese. Full coverage of the cockpit, weapons and other internal details are included. The differences between variants and also variations in equipment fit are clearly pointed out in the captions and illustrations.
