For Medical Candidates:
a) A postgraduate medical degree Viz. MD/MS/MDS in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

For Non-Medical Candidates:
b) (i) The candidate should possess M.Sc. Degree in the subject concerned and
(ii) Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute.

Pay Scale:Eligible candidates will get the pay of Approximate consolidated upper limit of monthly remuneration: Rs. 55,000/- (inclusive of NPA). However, in the event of candidate having M.Sc. with Ph.D. the payable amount will be as in the case of Non-Medical candidates.
Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should have Not exceeding 33 years.
Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

Selection Process: Selection will be on the basis of Personal Interview depending on the number of applications received.
